Vista Detention Facility

North County's main intake jail. Most arrests in Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, San Marcos and Escondido are booked here and arraigned at the North County Regional Center across the street.

San Diego Central Jail

The county's downtown men's facility, next to the San Diego Superior Court Hall of Justice. Release usually takes 2 to 8 hours after a bond is posted.

Las Colinas Detention & Reentry Facility

The county jail for women, serving arrests countywide including North County and East County.

George Bailey Detention Facility

Large sentenced-and-pretrial facility in Otay Mesa. Inmates are frequently transferred here from Central Jail.

South Bay Detention Facility

North County Regional Center (Vista Courthouse)

San Diego Central Courthouse

Primary downtown criminal and civil courthouse; most Central Jail arraignments are heard here.

Hall of Justice

Houses appellate, probate and select criminal departments downtown.

East County Regional Center (El Cajon)

Serves El Cajon, Santee, La Mesa, Lakeside and Alpine cases, including many Las Colinas defendants.
